How it started

Established in June 2018, FARMore WA nonprofit is dedicated to sustaining the livelihood of Washington State farmers and promoting the longevity of local food resources. We achieve this by supporting farmers and advancing food education through our Farm Relief Fund, Sweat Equity, and volunteer programs. We proudly collaborate with farmers, local businesses, community members, and nonprofits to foster meaningful connections between urban and rural neighborhoods. Together, we recognize our shared connection to the land and to each other.

Originally established under a different name, FARMore WA underwent a transformation to distinguish itself from its founding developers. It's essential to emphasize that FARMore WA is a distinct and separate entity from the farmers market that gave rise to our organization. While we honor our roots, our rebranding represents an evolution and expansion of our efforts to better serve the needs of our agricultural community.
